The Maintenance Planning Tech role is responsible for working directly with the business to review SAP notifications, plan, schedule and assist with completion of work activities in the SAP application. They will work with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create, plan, schedule, and complete activities in SAP. They will also, interact both internally and externally with Finance, Accounts Payable, Supply Chain and Vendors.

This is a challenging but also rewarding job that requires strong analytical, communication, computer, and problem-solving skills. Some experience in SAP and knowledge of the oil and gas industry is preferred.

This primary job duties of this position will include:

  • Lead and conduct meetings with field operation teams
  • Review and validate data from field-submitted requests
  • Planning, prioritization, and coordination for multiple work groups
  • Utilization and communication of KPIs and reporting tools
  • Provide the team the tools, training, and support needed to create an environment where the team members make the day-to-day decisions.
  • Collaborate with the EORP teams in troubleshooting and problem solving to track reliability, efficiency, and uptime, with a focus on continuous improvement.

Qualifications - External

  • Minimum High School diploma or G.E.D.
  • Oilfield operations knowledge/experience is preferred

Skills & Competencies:

  • Skilled at data analysis
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamworking skills
  • Self-starter - ability to work independently and meet objectives of the job and the team
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications (Outlook and Excel)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Initiative-taker, able to work with minimal supervision but deliver superior results.

SQL experience preferred
