JOB TITLE: Manager, Inclusion & Belonging JOB SUMMARY The Manager, Inclusion & Belonging will play a pivotal role in enhancing inclusion and belonging within our organization. You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to build upon, revise, and measure effective DEI initiatives across all levels of the company. This is both a hands-on and strategic role designed for an experienced DEI professional with a proven track record of successfully driving large-scale DEI initiatives for complex, global organizations. The ideal candidate will be a thought leader, a skilled communicator, and a passionate advocate for creating an inclusive culture where every employee feels valued and empowered to thrive. This role reports to Leader of HR COEs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
- Inclusion & Belonging Strategy Development & Implementation: Assist in the refinement, development, and execution of comprehensive Inclusion & Belonging strategies tailored to the organization's unique challenges and opportunities. This includes refining key initiatives, suggesting measurable goals, and creating actionable plans to advance Inclusion and Belonging efforts across the business in partnership with HR Leadership.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, HR, associate resource groups (ARGs), and managers, to enable inclusion being embedded into company culture, policies, and day-to-day operations
- Data-Driven Approach: Partner with Data & Insights team to to better assess current progress, identify gaps, and provide suggestions for improvement. Work with analytics team to ensure appropriate and best-practice measurement (without quotas) of inclusivity and belonging at TBCT.
- Training and Education: Partner with T&D Team to develop better practices for inclusion and belonging training, workshops, and resources that enhance cultural competence and foster inclusive behaviors at all levels of the organization. Tailor content to meet the specific needs of diverse teams and workforces.
- Advocacy for an Inclusive Culture: Build out suggested actions for fostering an inclusive environment where all employees feel a sense of belonging, with a particular focus on underrepresented groups. Act as a liaison and resource for Associate Resource Groups, and promote an ongoing dialogue about diversity, equity, and inclusion through company events, communication, and other initiatives on our Lakewood campus.
- Policy and Process Support: Assist where required HRBP team in analyzing and advising on company policies, hiring practices, and other processes to ensure they align with HR objectives. Recommend changes to enhance fairness and inclusion at all stages of the employee lifecycle.
- Best Practices & Benchmarking: Stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and legal considerations. Benchmark company progress against industry standards to ensure competitive advantage in talent acquisition, retention, and employee engagement.
- Change Management: Provide input to organizational change by facilitating Inclusion & Belonging related transformations, managing stakeholder expectations, and helping to overcome resistance to change. Provide thought leadership on how I&B can be clearly woven into the company's business strategy.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education Bachelor's degree required. Master degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Industrial/Organizational Psychology or Management preferred. Experience
- 8-10 years of experience in Inclusion and Belonging work within a large organization
- Breadth of Business experiences in large and medium-size companies required and with international experience or exposure preferred
