Compensation Grade: P23Compensation Details: Minimum: $86,019.00 - Maximum: $86,019.00 AnnuallyDepartment (OPH) Office of Public HealthJob Description: Responsibilities Health Research, Inc. is seeking an innovated skilled Web Developer to play a pivotal role in strengthening the Office of Public Health's (OPH), New York State Department of Health, digital capabilities. The Web Developer will coordinate and provide oversight and recommendations for the design and implementation of user-friendly web content, collaborate with various stakeholders to collect recommendations, and ensure the accurate dissemination of public health information through a public-facing webpage. This position will also be responsible for programming technical solutions and providing robust customer support to address user issues efficiently. The incumbent will stay abreast of the latest web technologies to improve application performance and security while encouraging a collaborative environment across Office of Public Health centers. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field and three years of experience in website design, development, and maintenance; OR an Associate's degree in a related field and five years of such experience; OR seven years of such experience. A Master's degree in a related field may substitute for one year of such experience. Preferred Qualifications
Conditions of Employment Grant funded position. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required. Valid and unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. Travel, up to 25% of the time, may be required. The selected candidate must reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the official work location specified in the job posting and must also be located in or willing to relocate to one of the following states: New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Vermont, or Massachusetts, prior to hire.
