The Training Coordinator role is located at the Technical Training Center (TTC) in Portland, Oregon, where working hours are 8AM to 5PM Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities:

* Provide quality customer service by serving as the primary point of contact for all internal and external training requests and inquiries.

* Serve as the registrar for all technical and safety training, keeping up-to-date course schedules, participant lists, and related logistics.

* Assist in administration of Technical & Safety Training programs, including organizational communication, employee training, policy development, reporting and record keeping.

* Provide logistical support for local training initiatives; collect and update training records.

* Maintain Learning Management Systems including database enrollment and reporting.

* Coordinate testing activities for instructors in electronic testing database.

* Respond to reporting requests, generate reports, and provide report analysis support.

* Coordinate on-site and off-site training events.

* Draft letters, reports and presentations, regularly prepare participant materials, prepare materials for distribution to employees as needed.

* Provide additional day-to-day support as needed for employee training, development and education as well as special projects.

* Track and monitor vendor invoices and expenses.

* Support all aspects of day-to-day facility operation, including payment of monthly bills, scheduling maintenance and repairs, and maintaining stock of office and other supplies.

* And all other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* High school diploma and 3-5 years of administrative support experience or Bachelors' degree with equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

* Prior experience supporting training and development is beneficial.

* Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

* Proficient customer service skills.

* Extreme attention to detail, accuracy, and timely delivery.

* Ability to work in a constantly evolving team environment.

* High level of organizational, time management and planning abilities.

* Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office products.

* Experience in SAP is beneficial.

* Able to communicate in English.

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use of hands and fingers to handle and grasp; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit, stand and walk, as well as travel to other locations, some that may be remote.

Competencies:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite computer skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook).

* Regular and reliable attendance.

* Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, courteous manner.
