This role will play a part in having an assembly station they are assigned to. Hand/power tools, attention to detail, electrical and mechanical experience, meeting daily labor rates etc. This is a 1st shift role M-F (6am-2:30pm) and we are looking at a wage range of $18-$21/hour but this person needs between 2-3 years of related assembly experience. I'd like to classify this as a step up from entry level and hopefully be in the mid-range. Essential Function and Responsibilities * Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies * Operate production line equipment and hand/power tools efficiently at all workstations to assemble components. * Meets standard labor rates while maintaining quality standards. * Completes tasks directed by Plant Manager with minimal supervision. * Communicate & flex with co-workers to meet production goals. * Complete daily labor sheets and required production documentation. * Maintains work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows safety regulations daily. * Follows technical and verbal assembly instructions. * May perform other duties as required and/or assigned. Education and/or Experience: * High School Diploma or equivalent * Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills * Able to build to print at quality level * Manual dexterity required for using various tools and operating machinery * Mechanical and electrical skills (2-3 years) * Ability to read bill of materials and product work instructions Physical Demands and Working Environment: * Ability to lift up to 50 pounds * Exposure to moving mechanical parts |
