Solutions Engineer

The Solutions Engineer (SE) at Mascoma Technologies plays a pivotal role in delivering products and services to banking clients nationwide. The SE will lead technical discovery and design solutions that bridge client banking needs with Mascoma Technologies' offerings. SE's are the trusted advisor for clients as they transform their banking infrastructure to support business strategy objectives. The SE team will collaborate closely with Business Analysts, Data Integration Specialists, and DevSecOps to ensure every implementation meets the highest standards of performance, security, scalability, and compliance.

Essential Functions of the Position

1. Serve as the technical lead on client engagements from pre-sales design and consultation through implementation and platform go-live
2. Collaborate with clients to gather integration requirements, identify technical dependencies, and design solution architecture
3. Leverage extensive market knowledge and relationships to competitively position Mascoma Technologies products and services
4. Configure Stratum platform components, including API connections, security settings, and core integrations
5. Work alongside Data Integration Specialists to support data mapping and transformation tasks
6. Contribute to and follow implementation playbooks for consistent delivery
7. Assist in validating client environments, conducting system testing, and supporting user acceptance testing (UAT)
8. Participate in go-live planning and handoff to 24x7 support teams
9. Collaborate with Product and Engineering to relay client feedback and feature needs

Nonessential Functions of Position

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in technical solution design, systems integration, or implementation engineering
• Strong understanding of APIs, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and core system integrations
• Familiarity with Salesforce platform and middleware integration patterns is a plus
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills- able to engage clients and internal stake holders alike
• Experience working with financial services or fintech clients is highly desirable
• Knowledge of CI/CD, containerized environments (Kubernetes), and secure data handling a bonus

Physical Demands/Working Conditions

• Must be able to work flexible time schedule including after hours
• Must be able to travel and attend training sessions as required
• Varied work with a normal expenditure of energy and little or no unusual physical effort
• May involve incidental business machine operations
• Work involves intermittent periods of stationary positioning and traversing
• Working conditions include well-lit and well-ventilated areas

This position can be performed remotely within our service areas.
