The VP, Strategic Projects is charged with developing and executing Strategic Projects for Optum Financial's Commercial Payments business. This position requires collaboration with leaders across UnitedHealth Group to align on strategy and execution. The initial focus will be on Real-Time Settlement ("RTS") which is an enterprise-wide initiative aiming to revolutionize revenue cycle management - significantly reducing administrative burden and improving the overall healthcare experience for payers, providers, and patients. We provide our customers with the latest in innovative solutions that are aimed at eliminating friction in the healthcare system and easing how healthcare is financed and paid for. The VP, Strategic Projects will have direct responsibility for the development and deployment of new, innovative, and disruptive products in the marketplace, managing through the product development lifecycle process. You will have direct accountability for the deployment of strategic projects within Optum Financial and will work directly with customers and internal and external partners to deliver on customer commitments. The leader is expected to be a liaison across multiple business segments to deliver on our long-year growth strategy. *All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. The salary range for this role is $191,800 to $364,800 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. UnitedHealth Group complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
