Essential Functions and Primary Duties:

Leadership
oOperate as a senior executive within the RIA Senior Leadership Team (Sales, Service, Compliance)
oCollaborate effectively and proactively with fellow RIA Senior Executives to align strategic objectives
oLead Investment Research Team, including each Investment Director
oModel leadership behaviors and uphold fiduciary responsibility and performance standards
oSet and continuously reassess work priorities for Investment Research Team, ensuring timely execution and quality control
oOversee usage and optimization of investment platforms, tools, and subscriptions across team
oDirectly oversee investment activity in retirement, institutional, and private wealth verticals

Communication
oDeliver timely and effective communication across the RIA via written updates, verbal briefings, and digital presentations
oMaintain structured bi-weekly and quarterly communication cadences with Advisors and Client Service Teams
oAs needed, prepare client-ready communications for dissemination by others
oCoordinate investment messaging with affiliated Broker Dealer and Life Insurance Solutions teams, related to Private Wealth

Governance & Compliance
oChair and operate the Executive Investment Committee and Research Advisory Board
oMaintain and practice the Investment Committee Charter
oOrganize and lead the quarterly asset allocation meeting review
oConstruct the quarterly asset allocation summary for RIA internal distribution
oEngage regularly with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure regulatory alignment and synchronization across investment operations
oEstablish, document, and monitor all investment due diligence processes

Investment Philosophy
oSet, maintain and communicate Investment Philosophy for the RIA
oFine-tune the philosophy as needed per each Vertical
oEnsure consistency and alignment between stated investment philosophy and all deliverables

Investment Research
oProvide hands-on leadership of the Investment Research Team, guiding daily operations and priorities
oDefine research scope, methodologies, and resulting deliverables
oCommunicate research activity, updates and work product to the RIA as needed

Current Events and Analysis
oActively maintain "rolling" awareness, understanding, analysis of global events
oAnalyze and assess potential investment implications in collaboration with internal stakeholders
oReduce analysis to key themes and talking points to be distributed and used

Performance Management
oEstablish monitoring and performance cadence in each vertical
oMaintain and routinely review asset allocation strategy and supporting documentation
oInitiate changes to investment models when warranted
oOrchestrate model change when needed to ensure portfolios remain competitive, compliant, and performance-driven

Clients and Prospects
oSupport key client relationships alongside Advisors and Client Service Teams by providing expert insights on investment-related questions and strategy
oPartner with the RIA sales team on prospective client opportunities, including RFP responses, proposals, and finalist presentations, to effectively convey the RIA's investment philosophy, products, and strategies
*Align talent strategy with business needs to ensure the investment function is staffed with the right skills, capacity, and structure for sustained success
*Additional responsibilities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications:
*Both the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation as well as the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
*Demonstrated success through multiple economic cycles and global market conditions
*Master's degree in Finance, Economics, or related field.
*Either the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation OR the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.
*Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
*Minimum of 10 years of investment industry experience, with increasing scope and complexity including experience due diligence, sourcing and monitoring both public and private investment assets.

Minimum Qualifications:
*Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Management or related field. MBA strongly preferred
*At least 7 years of multi-location operations management experience
*Must maintain current required licenses and certifications relevant to field of expertise
*Advanced communication, sales and presentation skills
*Proven track record of meeting sales targets
*Strong analytical skills
*Advanced interpersonal and leadership skills
*Results driven and customer focused
