Job Description
Reporting to the VP of Corporate Development, the Associate Vice President of Business Development (AVP) and Strategy will be a key member of the Corporate and Business Development team. S/he will also be a key member of Agilent's executive staff with dotted-line accountability to the Group President. S/he will combine solid business acumen, strong strategic thinking, strong domain knowledge, and industry contacts to facilitate inorganic strategy in partnership with group-level strategy teams. S/he will also contribute to Agilent's Enterprise-level long-range strategy and lead select strategic initiatives with an emphasis on inorganic growth. The AVP of BD will own building the M&A funnel and progress targets through the M&A lifecycle. The AVP of BD will also be responsible for facilitating the active cultivation of priority M&A targets. In partnership with leadership, they will be a key architect of the investment thesis and major strategic assumptions for all inorganic investments and lead strategic diligence on those opportunities. They will be a member of the core team responsible for advising and driving alignment between the Agilent CEO and CEO staff on all inorganic opportunities. Additional Details This job has a full time weekly schedule. It includes the option to work remotely. The full-time equivalent pay range for this position is $188,480.00 - $353,400.00/yr plus eligibility for bonus, stock and benefits. Our pay ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
