The Opportunity

The Project Support Specialist plays a key role in driving the success of advanced projects by managing mechanical assembly and electrical wiring designs, overseeing bill of material (BOM) entry, and facilitating new parts generation. They have full ownership of procurement and scheduling for assigned products, ensuring seamless communication with internal and external stakeholders and delivering On Time Delivery (OTD).

You will make an impact by....



  • Generating and supporting all mechanical assembly and electrical wiring drawings associated with advanced projects in addition to all bill of material (BOM) entry and new parts generation
  • Supporting all aspects of system drawing packages; submittal, production release and as-installed drawings.
  • Full ownership of the procurement and scheduling for the assigned products. This includes ownership of assigned parts, communication to all internal and external customers and suppliers, and reacting quickly in a fast-paced environment.
  • Collaborating with strategic supply chain team for support and escalation of known issues.
  • Communicating with project engineering on scheduling and material lead times.
  • Aligning of parts to production schedule (expediting, push outs), procurement of maintenance, operations and repair (MRO), materials, and MRBR regular updates.
  • Maintaining a production schedule for each assigned project for the project team, ensuring On Time Delivery (OTD) of procured parts and shipment from the production release though shipment stages.
  • Building advanced system substations and computers to project design specification and system prints.
  • Supporting Project & System engineer on Factory Acceptance Testing, validation, tear down and shipment to customer sites


The talent we want to inspire has...



  • Associates Degree in EET or Mechanical Engineering or 5 years related experience related to mechanical and electrical design of systems or technical build of systems.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of CAD work experience in an engineering work environment. Possesses extensive skills in AutoCAD.
  • Ability to travel up to 10%
  • Ability to manage multiple projects/priorities at the same time
  • Ability to work non-standard work hours as needed/required.


This would be a plus but not a must!



  • Well versed in basic electronics including low and high voltage
  • Able to review electrical wiring diagrams and 1-line diagrams
  • Able to troubleshoot electrical systems using wire diagrams
  • Spanish
