Job Description: V2X is seeking a Supply Technician, to perform Logistic duties on the COBRA DANE radar system located at Shemya, Alaska. This position is a remote assignment in Shemya, Alaska with a rotation of approximately 8 weeks on island and 5 weeks off island. The candidate will be required to perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization). This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignment requires: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. This position is responsible for ensuring that the onsite material and tagged property records are accurate and that all issues, receipts, and dispositions are properly annotated and reported to the offsite asset manager. Conducts property and material inventories to ensure that the asset management system is accurate; Ensures asset management paperwork is provided to the offsite asset management team and reconciles differences in inventory data; validates the asset on hand levels and identifies low levels then submits the appropriate procurement paperwork to correct the situation; primary on site representative for DCMA property audits as well as Contractor Self Assessments conducted by SCM compliance; and performs other duties as assigned.
