Job Description:

V2X is seeking a Supply Technician, to perform Logistic duties on the COBRA DANE radar system located at Shemya, Alaska. This position is a remote assignment in Shemya, Alaska with a rotation of approximately 8 weeks on island and 5 weeks off island.

The candidate will be required to perform limited aspects of technical supply management work (e.g., inventory management, storage management, cataloging, and property utilization). This work may require consideration of program requirements together with specific variations in or from standardized guidelines. Assignment requires: (a) a good working knowledge of the governing supply systems, programs, policies, nomenclature, work methods, manuals, or other established guidelines; (b) an understanding of the needs of the organization serviced; and (c) analytical ability to define or recognize the dimension of the problems involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, and take or recommend action based upon application or interpretation of established guidelines. This position is responsible for ensuring that the onsite material and tagged property records are accurate and that all issues, receipts, and dispositions are properly annotated and reported to the offsite asset manager. Conducts property and material inventories to ensure that the asset management system is accurate; Ensures asset management paperwork is provided to the offsite asset management team and reconciles differences in inventory data; validates the asset on hand levels and identifies low levels then submits the appropriate procurement paperwork to correct the situation; primary on site representative for DCMA property audits as well as Contractor Self Assessments conducted by SCM compliance; and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications/Skills



  • A current DOD security investigation that will support a SECRET clearance.
  • Excellent communication (verbal and written), problem solving, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent computer skills and extensive training in Microsoft Word & Excel.
  • Able to interface with all levels of management and team with fellow employees.
  • Broad knowledge of Inventory Management, Receiving, Warehousing, and Shipping processes.
  • Experience in inventory control practices for government owned material
  • Experience in developing key performance measurements (metrics) and various reports in support of audits and/or other program requirements
  • Experience in developing and managing cyclical physical inventory counts, and establishing and maintaining accountability records
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, self-starter

  • Hazardous certification/training
  • Knowledge of UID requirements
  • Experience working with an Excel based Asset Management System
  • Experience working with USAF CA/CRL accounts
  • Experience working with USAF Supply Systems
  • Experience working with ALCS System
  • Experience working with USAF Supply Systems
  • USAF records management experience
  • Quality control experience
  • Familiarity with USAF operations security requirements.
  • Quality Assurance training and experience.


Education Requirements:



  • High school graduate and two years of equivalent experience in Supply/Property management experience.


Pay:



  • This is a SCA position so the hourly rate is fixed at $31.06
