Overview

Lead the development and maintenance of a content marketing plan in line with the goals of the Credit
Union, and the execution thereof. This includes the Logix organic and paid social media plans, blog,
podcast, video, and other organic media touchpoints. This position will also work with peers and
representatives from departments throughout the credit union, to produce or curate content for social
media and other programs such as email marketing, website, and other Marketing touchpoints. The
Senior Content Marketing Specialist will demonstrate an awareness of culture and its real-time impact on
Logix business and the ability to personally manage several vendors.


Responsibilities

    Leads the social media execution of emergency response communications.
    * Curates or directly creates content which educates and persuades the public about the benefits of
    financial services offered by Logix, reduces the instance of fraud by educating members, and
    reduces call volume by informing the public.
    * Manages a >$100k social media vendor/budget to ensure each Logix branch and channel has
    individualized custom content created on a frequently recurring basis.
    * Increases staff participation in social media by developing various marketing programs, including
    budget, procurement, and distribution of prizes.
    * Develops one social media liaison per branch and manages monthly distribution of awards to
    participants.
    * Utilizes best practices in content optimization to ensure the highest probability a recipient will
    increase their financial relationship with Logix.
    * Understands complex financial topics and communicates them to the public with brevity,
    appropriate humor, and transparency.
    * Endears the Logix brand to the public by posting meaningful content to the blog, website, and
    social media and interacting when appropriate.
    * Maintains awareness of cultural trends to help the Logix brand maintain relevant.
    * Proofreads all published material to ensure accuracy.
    * Researches and provides statistical comparisons against industry standard as well as Logix
    benchmarks to ensure sales performance of Logix is always improving.
    * Works with Compliance department to meet compliance and regulatory guidelines for all
    communications.
    * Uses HubSpot or equivalent software to ensure consistent messaging across a variety of
    touchpoints.
  • Uses basic Photoshop or equivalent photo manipulation software to produce appealing images to
    support other content or as standalone marketing pieces.
    * Produces content in WYSIWYG and basic HTML as required
    * Works within and directly impacts their function, occasionally interacts with other departments.


Qualifications

Education

  • Education Level: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree
  • Description: Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience

  • Preferred Years of Experience: 5 + years related experience in credit union marketing, social media marketing, or advertising fields.
Knowledge, Skills & Ability
  • Demonstrated success with writing optimized content in a sales environment.
    * Demonstrated success with writing creative blog or marketing content.
    * Mathematical skills sufficient to produce and explain results against benchmarks.
    * Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
    * Demonstrated understanding of complex financial topics.
    * Working knowledge of HubSpot or equivalent preferred.
    * Candidate is a "lifelong learner" with evidence of frequent field-related knowledge obtained
    outside of degree programs
    * Sales, web design, and customer service experience preferred
    * Experience with basic Photoshop (or equivalent), HTML & WYSIWYG preferred.
    * Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing preferred.
    * Experience managing digital sales funnels preferred.
    * Contribute to large projects and are a force of proposition on their scope of work towards
    improvements and achievement.
