Genesis10 is seeking a .NET Developer (Mid-Level) for our client in the Retail Services Industry. This is a Contract to Hire opportunity located in the Plano, TX, 75024 W2 Status: Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position. The role of Software Developer I is an entry level programming position, which will need to demonstrate programming knowledge and work with IT Business Analysts, other programmers, and code to specifications in company's software. To be successful in this role an individual will need: Key Responsibilities Design and Development: Create customer specific software applications using company base code (mainly C++, C#) and MySQL. Collaborate with business analysts and other developers throughout the software development lifecycle. Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct application testing and data validation to ensure software functionality and reliability. Maintenance and Updates: Modify existing customer software to fix errors, enhance performance, or upgrade interfaces. Provide off-hours support for customer events Required Skills and Qualifications Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in computer science, software development, or a related field is preferred. Programming Proficiency: Knowledge of and experience using C, C++ and C# programming languages as well as familiarity with Databases and MySQL specifically. Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to troubleshoot issues and develop effective solutions. Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating clearly with colleagues and team members. Follow the best practices established by department leadership. Complete code configurations based on the Business Analyst's specifications. Collaborate with other internal departments and build good working relationships to achieve departmental and company goals. Work well in a team environment.
