Novonesis' Consumer Health business unit is looking for a Sales & Business Development Manager to support selling Novonesis' branded product portfolio to help people live healthier and better lives. Our biology-based and clinically documented product brands include Precision Biotics and Microbiome Labs which are sold in multiple channels (including 'direct e-commerce', to 'regional distributors' and to 'healthcare practitioners'). In the role as Sales & Business Development Manager you'll make an impact by
- Secure new customer partners by sourcing, pitching and converting account on own/ in collaboration with regional Marketing team
- Grow business by ongoing management and upselling including launching new products from combined Novonesis portfolio as a key company synergy growth priority
- Help instill a high level of customer centricity and be the voice of the sales function. Build customer insight and feedback to enable agile adaption of value proposition
- Protect and preserve Novonesis brand equity
Potentially Relevant Experience
- You have at least 5 years of sales experience with distributor sales preferably in consumer health industry, ideally with an understanding of consumer brands as well as B2B experience
- You possess a strong business acumen to assess and prioritize leads fast, with proven track record of converting leads into opportunities, and opportunities into sales/business impact
- You have ability to quickly build trust with customers and good listening skills to identify and address pain points/needs
- You excel in internal networking to tap into the organization's know-how and collaborate with cross-functional/regional stakeholders
- You probably have a Masters Degree in business, science or engineering
- You have experience with remote selling/digital engagement and affinity for digital/IT tools/platforms/systems (e.g., SalesForce, etc.)
- Ability to speak multiple languages is an advantage - key languages sought Spanish, French, German in addition to English
- Experience working in LATAM markets is required for this position.
