Zipcar is seeking a Locations Manager to lead the identification, management, optimization, and branding of our parking locations across multiple Zipcar markets in Los Angeles, San Diego, and Denver. This role involves developing and executing locations plans, building relationships with various external partners to enhance member experiences, and effectively coordinating and communicating with the fleet team to maximize operational efficiency of our fleets. The ideal Locations Manager should possess a deep understanding of the region, entrepreneurial spirit to take calculated risks, a passion for analytics and trends, negotiation skills to secure and maintain contracts, and the ability to manage budgets effectively. What You'll Do: This role has everything: entrepreneurialism, merchandising, negotiations, marketing, business development, analytics, and finance Locations build the strategy, relationships, and agreements to enable us to optimize and grow our car sharing network Opportunity to make an impact, and develop and grow outside the normal lines of your role to help the business, empowerment, and ownership of your work Change the mobility landscape in the markets within your region Perks You'll Get: Competitive Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability Insurance and other voluntary benefits through our parent company, Avis Budget Group Generous paid time off, including holidays, vacation, personal, sick, volunteer and Parental Leave options Tax-free benefit for public transportation or parking expenses Bicycle Reimbursement program 401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributions Free Zipcar Membership and other employee discounts, including discounts on renting and buying Avis/Budget cars Community involvement opportunities What We're Looking For: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience Regional knowledge and experience working with government entities Proven highly strategic and analytical skillset Ability to synthesize a large amount of data and make informed decisions Strong negotiation skills & salesmanship; always has several leads in-progress Experience using salesforce for account and contract management Exceptional communication skills working with a variety of stakeholders within a matrixed organization Proven record managing relationships with external vendors Deep understanding of the urban and mobility landscape as it pertains to where people live, work, and play Relevant leadership or management experience Strong process orientation skills with previous experience in project management Valid Driver's License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards) Familiarity with Oracle, SQL, and Looker are a plus Proficiency in the RFP draft process The annual starting salary for this position is between $68,640 to $85,000 annually.
