Analyst Business Logistics

Job Location: 19 East Office, Hershey, PA

Summary:

This position supports the Logistics Planning and Analysis team by managing and maintaining Logistics KPIs and reporting utilizing Power BI, Alteryx, SAP Business Warehouse, Excel, and other analytical tools. Focus on analyzing spend, utilizations, and performance against goals to drive continuous improvement, sustainability and efficiencies. Other duties can include supporting transportation projects and bids, cross-functional invoice approval reviews, and ensuring data integrity. It requires a detail oriented individual capable of multi-tasking and strong MS Office tools skills.

Scope of Responsibility:

KPI & Reporting 60%

• Create, maintain and update Logistics KPIs and reports utilizing Power BI, Alteryx, SAP BW, Excel
• Ensure data integrity
• Communicate KPI results, including trend changes and root cause analysis

Analyze 30%

• Research and validate trend/cost change assumptions
• Develop improvement hypotheses
• Own and take action on improvement opportunities

Ad-Hoc Support & Analysis 10%

• Perform ad-hoc logistics analysis requests to include rate proposals to cost savings

Minimum Qualifications:

• Proficiency in or ability to learn quickly data sources including Power BI, Alteryx, SAP BW, and TMS systems
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proven data analysis skills
• Knowledge of supply chain operations
• Strong financial and business mindset

Minimum Requirements and Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field or equivalent analytical supply chain experience.
• Minimum of 0-4 years' experience in supply chain, business, or other analytical function.
