Position Summary

The Shipping/Receiving Coordinator verifies and keeps shipping records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipping as needed.

Shift & Pay



  • This is a day shift opportunity
  • Starting pay is $19.50/hour.


Essential Responsibilities



  • Act as primary contact for shipping companies and couriers.
  • Receive incoming shipments and prepare outgoing shipments.
  • Deliver any incoming shipments to appropriate parties.
  • Recycle all materials from incoming shipments.
  • Print and create new orders.
  • Make packing lists.
  • Properly package materials for shipping locally, domestically, and internationally.
  • Reconcile shipping costs to the appropriate job including tracking information.
  • Perform warehouse duties as required and maintain a clean warehouse.
  • Identify and store materials in warehouse/stockrooms.
  • Coordinate transportation of goods.
  • Load/unload trucks as needed in Shipping/Receiving area.
  • Operate forklift as/if necessary.
  • Manage shipping supply levels and act as back-up for janitorial services.
  • Attend all Environmental Health & Safety training sessions and other company-wide and departmental meetings.
  • Keep work area clean and organized.
  • Read and understand Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
  • Follow all personal protective equipment (PPE) procedures.
  • Follow departmental standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Work overtime when requested by management.
  • When handing off jobs to co-workers/next shift, clearly communicate any information for job completion.
  • Assist with additional responsibilities as directed by management.


Education, Experience, & Certification



  • High school diploma, GED equivalent, or 1-3 months' related experience
  • Forklift operation experience preferred

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay for this position is $19.50 hourly. Ultimately, in determining pay, we will consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.
