Sr. Technician I, Process R&D

Job Summary

Technical Competencies.

• Operation and maintenance of process equipment in various areas. Initial focus will be in small scale fermentation process labs.
• Knowledge of control loops both 0-10vdc and 4-20 mA, electrical and electronic principles, exposure to PLC and or HMI programming is desired, detailed troubleshooting abilities, along with various other types of process equipment such as Load Cells, pH, Temperature, Agitation, Pressure control loops.
• Ability to understand, work and troubleshoot from P&ID Diagrams and/or electrical blue prints for various process equipment.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles, pneumatics, mechanical and other related theories and concepts to allow for proper troubleshooting.
• Preform preventive electrical and mechanical maintenance on several types of process equipment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, SOP/BOM, and related materials.
• Follow all Safety rules and regulations.
• Provide informative and responsive communication to customers.
• Be proficient with hand tools, understand basic mechanical system principles such as belt drives systems, pulley systems, leverage points, fulcrum points, bolt torque specs.
• Be proficient in general MS Office applications.
