Senior Java Full Stack Engineer We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Full Stack Engineer. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Core Java, Java 8+, Reactive Programming, Spring boot, and REST API. This role encompasses leadership responsibilities, including different planning strategies. By ensuring robust and efficient system operations, the candidate will play a key role in advancing our company's mission. Location: Phoenix - AZ (Onsite) You must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future. Responsibilities * Lead the solution design and implementation of core platform features. * API Design and Implementation. * Provide Operational support with building platform monitoring tools/dashboards, ad hoc reports. * Defect Fixes, Performance Testing, Endurance testing. * Willingness to work in second shift from offshore so that he can overlap with Onsite team. Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in computer science or related, and 6+ years of relevant experience * Core Java - Java 8 / 11 (Lambdas, Streams, Completable Future, optional, generics, etc.) * Spring Boot, Spring Security (JWT, OAUTH, Role Validation), Spring Data - Spring Reactive - (Security-> Spring boot vs spring reactive) - Web flux - Reactor 3. * Rest API - Open API, Swagger, Controller, Status Code, Exception Handler. * Reactive Programming - Asynchronous - Vert.x. * Messaging Systems - Kafka, MQ, JMS. * Test Driven Development. * JUnit, Integration Testing, Performance Testing, Endurance Testing. * Mock tools (mockit, powermockit.) * Monitoring Tools (Grafana, Kibana, ELF, Splunk.) * CI/CD (Maven, Gradle, Git, Jenkins.) * Deployment (Cloud platform, Docker, Kubernetes) * Database - SQL, No SQL * Microservices Architecture, Design Patterns, Coding Skills. Salary and compensation The annual salary for this position will be between $68k - $114,500 depending on the experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program and stock awards, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
