Operational Manager

JRAD is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of its training sites. This role is responsible for developing and implementing policies and procedures, ensuring operational compliance, and evaluating site activities for efficiency and effectiveness. The Operations Manager will coordinate cross-functional communication to support seamless operations and manage a team of employees to ensure performance standards, departmental goals, and project milestones are consistently met within budgetary guidelines.

Roles/Responsibilities:

• Manages the activities of training sites.

• Develops and implements policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with these procedures.

• Evaluate activities to improve efficiency and effectiveness.

• Coordinate communication between different functions.

• Manages subordinate employees in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.

• Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adheres to approved budgets.

Required Skills and Education:

• Experience managing a dispersed workforce in support of DoD training range requirements

• Seven (7) years of DoD training range experience

• Three (3) years of managerial experience with DoD efforts

Desired Skills:

• Familiarity with synthetic training environments

• Bachelor's degree in STEM and/or management field

Security Clearance:

• Secret Security Clearance
