You'll explore a wide range of cooking styles while contributing to exceptional hospitality and creating unforgettable guest experiences.

As part of the team, you will support culinary programs that elevate our tasting rooms, wine clubs, and signature winery events. You'll also play a vital role during the annual harvest season-a magical time in wine country-by preparing meals for our dedicated harvest interns who travel from around the globe to be part of this special tradition.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Cook or otherwise assist in the preparation of food according to recipes, ensure that is properly prepared in a timely manner, and maintain a high standard of sanitation and food safety.
  • Receive and examine food and supplies to ensure quality and quantity meet established standards and specifications.
  • Keep waste and spoilage to a minimum by proper rotation, storage, and usage of all food items.
  • Responsible for cleaning and sanitation using Health Department guidelines.
  • Maintain open line of communication with supervisor and / or Chef.


Position Requirements:



  • Must have a minimum of 1 year working in a food preparation position - culinary school, culinary training, or cooking and production experience, preferred.
  • Understanding of and practice in cooking and food preparation skills - including weighing, measuring, knife skills, peeling, grating, tenderizing, marinating, saute, grilling, roasting, baking, preparing ingredients and equipment, setting time and temperature, food safety, food presentation, judging and modifying sensory properties, knowledge of menu components.
  • Basic administrative skills - use of technology, verbal and written communication, organization, and time management.
  • Must be 21 years of age, be able to stand for prolonged periods of time, and lift and carry up to 45 up and down stairs on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, especially during harvest is a must.
  • Must have or be able to obtain food handler's permit at the start of employment.


Your Compensation:

$18 - $21 per hour plus tips
