Quality Technician

Join us as a Quality Tech in our Dover facility.

You will perform routine analysis and laboratory test reporting and assist with determining root cause analysis of product and instrument issues and assists in Quality Processes such as quality audits, quality alerts, MRB, supplier corrective actions, PPAPs.

Job Dutties and Requirements:

• Perform raw material extraction testing for trace metals and other water contaminants on carbon using Graphite Furnace Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, Flame Atomic Absorption Spectrometry, and Spectrophotometric methods on various types of filtration media.
• Follows testing and analysis procedures using appropriate instrumentation and standard methods as specified in design and/or work instruction documentation and prepares completed and accurate test reports based on data generated by testing and data analysis.
• Maintains laboratory instruments and test equipment routinely. Identifies root cause and corrective action as needed with test equipment, lab instruments or test methods.
• Knows and follows all necessary safety provisions including location and use of lab safety equipment.
• Accurately and neatly records all test data in laboratory record books. Performs data analysis and records calculations and data analysis in permanent record files
• Calibrating lab test equipment for certification and testing.
• Monitor and maintain laboratory inventory and work with others to make sure supplies and working with the MRO system.
• Being very knowledgeable of computer systems, data entry for results, and able to work with different software at one time is required!

Position hours/shifts (Overtime Available!):

1st shift: Monday through Friday (actual hours will be determined at time of hire)

Physical Requirements:

Physical requirements are standing, walking, twisting at the waist, lifting, and lowering weights up to 50lbs.

Compensation:

The hourly pay for this role is: $28 to $32/hr. DOE. Opportunity for a rate increase after you are proficient in certain skills and have fulfilled training. Actual pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, and experience.
