Reporting To: Site Engineering Manager
Work Schedule: Onsite - Orlando, FL
Design and production engineer with experience in electrical design, testing and development.Proficiency in electrical design software, analytical and problem-solving skills, and strong communication skills are also crucial.
To be considered for this position, here's what you'll need to bring with you:
- A bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, electrical engineering technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant exp.
- Technical Skills:
- Understanding of electrical safety standards and regulations.
- Ability to read and create detailed electrical schematics.
- Knowledge of control systems, and embedded systems.
- Experience with circuit board DFM best practices
- Strong system and CCA level troubleshooting
- Familiar with common lab test equipment (DMM's, oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, etc.)
- Experience with commonly used IPC standards
- Working knowledge with CAD software AutoCAD, EPLAN, OrCAD or Cadence, simulation tools such MATLAB, SPICE or similar, and electrical design software
- Experience with designing and testing for aircraft EMI/EMC standards (MIL-STD-461 or DO-160 would be a plus.
- Ability to obtain a US security clearance.
As a Product and Design Electronic Engineer, you will:
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems and components.
- Develop semi-automated test solutions for production electronics
- Work with PCB fabricators and CCA assemblers to reduce board cost, lead time, and failures
- Develop and document production and test procedures
- Create detailed electrical schematics and documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other engineers and stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot design issues and implementing solutions.
- Participate in design reviews and quality control processes.

Salary Range Transparency: Orlando, FL $80,000.00-$120,000.00 Annually
