Summary:

We are seeking a results-driven Manager - Regional Systems to lead a team focused on minimizing gas loss across our system. This role is responsible for driving cross-departmental initiatives, managing direct reports, and overseeing small-scale projects aimed at improving gas accountability.

Essential Functions:



  • Manage a group of direct reports with the primary objective being to reduce lost gas on the system
  • Carry the LAUF message and effort across departmental groups
  • Work within the management team on the common goal of fostering and maintaining a safe workplace
  • Manage direct reports through the use of goals and objectives, performance management, compensation recommendations, training planning, and team building
  • Utilizing established procedures, continue to develop ways to capture lost or unaccounted for gas
  • Conduct or manage the estimating, design, procurement, scope, contracting, and budgets of smaller scale projects related to LAUF
  • Work with mapping and measurement information systems to extract pertinent data for requests from other internal groups
  • Coordinate information flow to continually update and improve accuracy of GIS systems


Essential Requirements:



  • Bachelor's degree in industry related discipline or equivalent work experience
  • 8 years of practical experience in natural gas gathering and processing field with demonstrated increasing levels of authority, responsibility, and accountability
  • Knowledge of basic gas and liquid measurement principles and methods
  • Knowledge of gas compositions
  • Above average written and verbal communication skills commensurate with position
  • Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office applications, XMap, FlowCal, PGas, and other industry applications


  • Ability to leverage above average knowledge of software applications to create new opportunities to spot and react to developing system losses


Working Conditions:

The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.



  • Usually, normal office working conditions.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
  • Occasional overnight travel may be required.
  • Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
