UMKC School of Medicine - Curriculum/Medical Education Job Description
The UMKC School of Medicine is seeking a qualified candidate for the Curriculum Manager in the Office of Medical Education. The Manager will be responsible for supporting the Council on Curriculum (Office of Medical Education) in managing the delivery of quality educational programs and the development and implementation of effective strategies to meet medical program objectives. The Manager provides administrative oversight across all years of curriculum for medical students in the UMKC School of Medicine BA/MD, MD, and OS/MD programs. This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Dean of Medical Education and is responsible for implementation of curriculum, ensuring continuous data management, analysis and reporting for compliance of LCME and regional accreditation standards. The Manager is a key member of the Curriculum (Medical Education) leadership team and supports all curricular, assessment, and instructional aspects of the UMKC BA/MD, MD, and OSMD programs at the Health Sciences District and collaborates with the curriculum manager at the St. Joseph regional campus. This individual oversees the day-to-day operations of the Curriculum/Medical Education office. Essential Functions:
Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Three years of administrative experience in higher education or medical education is required. Anticipated Hiring Range
Anticipated salary is $52,915 - $ 55,000 annual, commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity. Application Deadline
