SUMMARY Responsible for facilitating all new and renewal vendor requests. Works with all corporate team members involved with review of vendor applications, and provides instruction to leaders and those responsible for vendor contracts. Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates. This is a remote role ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Reviews all vendor submissions for completeness and acquires needed information to complete the submission. * Addresses all vendor submission concerns for each department, following up for additional information and scheduling meetings as needed with vendor coordinators. * Determines requirements and administers vendor process software including addition of questions and resolution of process issues. * Determines critical delays in process and makes recommendations to resolve issues effectively. * Identifies opportunities to improve process and policy. * Expedites vendor agreements that meet appropriate criteria. * Works with vendor coordinators and meets with others as needed on process. * Designs documentation to support the system process and provides training as needed to other corporate and business departments. * Effectively assists in resolving conflicts with the business and corporate team members. * Audits process requirements and execution. * Performs all duties in accordance with all company policies and procedures, and all federal, state and local laws, wherein the Company operates. * Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE Bachelor's Degree Or equivalent combination of education and experience Advanced degree Five (5) or more years Related work experience, project management experience Two (2) or more years Vendor Management Interest in law or compliance Familiarity with Alliant Business Units (or willingness to learn) SKILLS Excellent verbal and written communication skills Effective people skills and a high level of emotional intelligence and team building skills Ability to understand business processes and systems Ability to conceive, modify and manage Vendor Management Program Ability to interface with executives - internal and external Advanced planning, organizational and prioritization skills Ability to motivate and inspire others Strong leadership skills Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite #LI-LM1 Other details
