POSITION SUMMARY:

The Financial Analyst III is responsible for working on the development of operating and capital budgets, cash flow projections, and strategic mid and long-term financial plans. In addition, the position will perform strategic, internal, and external financial analyses that support business planning for new practices or expansion of practices and capital project return on investment for All Children's Specialty Physicians (ACSP) growth opportunities. The position supports budgeting, reporting, and financial management functions for assigned lines of business within All Children's Specialty Physicians (ACSP).

The person in this position will partner with ACSP service line leaders regarding revenue cycle reporting, P&L variance analysis, and other ad hoc operational and financial reporting projects, leveraging and managing existing financial resources as necessary. This position will work closely with ACSP leadership to develop opportunities for improvement in financial performance. This will require developing an in-depth knowledge of operations and effective working relationships with operational and physician leadership. The position will be responsible for verifying the accounting of service line income and expense ledgers and supporting ACSP leadership with the development and monitoring of their annual operating and capital plans.

The person in this position will also be involved in the evaluation and development of new reporting tools, dashboards, and benchmarking through the use of reporting tools such as Microsoft Power BI. The position will be expected to perform complex analyses of physician practice financial and performance metrics, including activity analysis of physician compensation models.

QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Five or more years of progressive experience with healthcare business analytics and budgeting, with a proven record of tangible accomplishment in building successful analytic models using clinical and financial data.
  • Extensive knowledge of financial business processes in a healthcare setting; experience within a large physician practice strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel to include the ability to perform advanced and complicated formulas, pivot tables, and macro functions.
  • Strong team leadership skills, problem-solving skills, and the ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal direction. Ability to mentor and lead lower-level Financial Analysts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with leadership, management, and fellow employees
  • Ability to lead and conduct concise and effective meetings.



Salary Range: $36.52/hour - $58.44/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.
