We have an excellent opportunity for a
Regional Sales Manager to join our team. This candidate will be responsible for identifying, prospecting, and acquiring new business opportunities and establishing an aggressive growth strategy for the Enclosure and Component, and Cabinet product lines for defense and industrial markets.
Responsibilities:
- Manage sales for Enclosures and Component, and Cabinet lines to achieve booking targets
- Responsible for leading and developing the territory though different sales channels
- Participate in product line performance and recommend new strategies to improve performance
- Develop and achieve revenue targets for Enclosure and Component, and Cabinet product lines
- Resolve business issues and ensure all escalated issues are closed
- Address business inquiries from customers and team members in a professional manner
- Identify market trends, perform competitor reviews, manage product portfolio
- Manage CRM tool to track sales activities, opportunities, and to forecast major programs and projects.
- Identify and target new customers through cold calling, networking, industry events, and market research. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads
- Utilize expertise to turn prospects into long-term customers by effectively presenting solutions, addressing pain points, and providing tailored recommendations
- Develop and execute strategies to secure new accounts and meet/exceed sales quotas
- Conduct compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals with a focus on value-driven solutions for potential customers
- Work on complex problems where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors
- Participate with management to establish plans and objectives for assigned product lines and territory
- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and procedures to determine appropriate action to find optimal solution
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adapt approach and identify fresh business opportunities
- Accurately track sales activities, opportunities, and results using CRM and provide regular reports on progress
Qualities:
- Proven experience in a hunter-style sales role with a track record of successfully acquiring new customers and consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong prospecting, cold calling, and lead generation skills
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing abilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage decision-makers at all levels
- Knowledge of CRM systems and sales tracking tools to manage pipeline effectively
- Problem analysis and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and tactical level
- Self-motivated, highly organized, and results-oriented, with a strong ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and task management skills are required
Education/Experience:
- Minimum BA/BS in Business Management or BS in Mechanical Engineering
- 7-10 years of experience in sales in a related field preferred
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Dynamics
