Durst Image Technology US is seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Human Resources to lead our people strategy and champion a culture of innovation, accountability, and growth. This is a high-impact leadership role that blends strategic foresight with hands-on execution across all facets of HR. This position supports all Durst US businesses in the US and Canada including Vanguard Digital Printing Systems.

You'll be a trusted advisor, strategic business partner, change agent, and culture builder-empowering teams, removing barriers, and facilitating people and business growth.


What You'll Do


  • Lead and evolve all core HR functions including recruitment, compliance and policy development, employee relations, training, compensation, benefits, and performance management.



  • Partner with senior leadership to align HR strategy with business objectives and growth plans.



  • Oversee and mentor HR and front desk staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.



  • Drive leadership development initiatives, including succession planning, individual development planning, and the annual leadership meeting.



  • Champion employee engagement through continuous monitoring, evaluation and improvement of HR and business strategies and procedures.



  • Represent HR in cross-functional leadership teams at Durst US and Vanguard.




What You Bring
Must-Haves:


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's preferred).



  • Several years progressive HR leadership experience.



  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR compliance or ability to gain this knowledge quickly.



  • Proven ability to lead across all HR functions with business acumen and strategic insight.



  • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and organizational skills.




Nice-to-Haves:


  • SPHR and/or SHRM-SCP certification.



  • Background in training, employee development, or specialist roles (e.g., recruiting, compensation).



  • Experience and demonstrated success working in mid-sized, entrepreneurial organizations.



  • Experience in printing and/or manufacturing industries.
