TEKsystems is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Transportation Analyst to support our client in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, based in Charlotte, NC. As a Transportation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in optimizing transportation operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of goods, and supporting the client's commitment to delivering high-quality products to their customers. Key Responsibilities: * Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret transportation data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. * Optimization: Develop and implement strategies to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times. * Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on transportation performance, including key metrics and KPIs. * Collaboration: Work closely with logistics, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure seamless coordination and execution of transportation plans. * Vendor Management: Manage relationships with transportation providers, negotiate contracts, and monitor performance to ensure compliance with service level agreements. * Compliance: Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and company policies. * Problem Solving: Address and resolve transportation-related issues promptly, minimizing disruptions to the supply chain. Qualifications: * Education: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. * Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in transportation analysis, logistics, or supply chain management. * Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL), transportation management systems (TMS), and ERP systems. * Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. * Analytical: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. * Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams. * Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
