* W2 candidates only* REQUIRED SKILLS * 1) Expertise in Angular 16+, with a strong grasp of the latest features and best practices - need to have hands-on experience with signals and other latest technologies 2) Architecting experience with micro-frontends 3) Cypress 4) CI/CD 5) Mentoring rest of the (primarily backend team) on UI best practices 6) Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to negotiate UX trade-offs and align with broader design strategy. 7) Some exposure to AWS or Azure NICE-TO-HAVE* * Java/Spring Boot Description* Our team is looking for a Principal Front-End Engineer with a focus in Angular to join the Integrated Portfolio Construction team to implement innovative solutions for financial advisors using the latest technology in a collaborative and engaging environment. You will play a leading role in the Agile development of analytical tools used in the portfolio construction process. Our development teams are highly collaborative and encourage creativity, innovation, and excellence. This engineer will play a key role in elevating our UI architecture and delivery, collaborating closely with the Squad Lead and UX Designer to deliver high-quality, consistent, and user-centered experiences. The Expertise and Skills You Bring Key Requirements: * Expertise in Angular, with a strong grasp of the latest features and best practices. * Hands-on experience with micro frontends and scalable front-end architectures. * Ability to evaluate and guide decisions on Design System components vs custom components and third-party libraries. * Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to negotiate UX trade-offs and align with broader design strategy. * Comfortable participating in cross-functional discussions to drive UI/UX consistency across squads. This engineer will play a key role in elevating our UI architecture and delivery, collaborating closely with the Squad Lead and UX Designer to deliver high-quality, consistent, and user-centered experiences. Experience Level Expert Level Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $80.00/hr.
