What you'll do

The Software Product Analyst I position will work directly with customers, user groups and/or state departments of education to gather correct requirements for their development team(s). You will be responsible for analysis, research, design, testing, and ultimately the success of the Infinite Campus software systems. You will also work with internal stakeholders and customers to help communicate how to move forward effectively with the tooling that is built. You will work independently; able to collaborate effectively on a development project team.

You will break down high-level business cases into functional and/or regulatory written requirements and UI designs. You will perform analysis/verification; ensuring that requirements are consistent, concise, comprehensible, verifiable and based on department best practices using the documentation template provided for this purpose. You will work with team members to ensure that requirements are interpreted and fulfilled correctly. You will conduct formal user feedback sessions and collaborate to determine how requests fit into product development. You will test product functionality; analyze and debug product issues. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders such as channel partners, product managers, support representatives, client executives, architects, developers, technical writers, project managers, and quality assurance personnel. You will create and deliver presentations to various internal/external users with varying levels of product knowledge.

Your skill-set

You will have a bachelor's degree in a related field and a general knowledge of relational database management systems and SaaS web-based software applications OR three years business analysis work experience.
