Mazak Corporation is looking for a Factory Automation Product Manager to join the Cybertec team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, driven Product Manager to join our fantastic sales team. Responsibilities include supporting product sales, marketing, pricing, delivery, and technical support for regional and sales headquarters efforts. Also, gathering feedback from sales and customers to help improve our competitiveness in the market. You may also be tasked with facilitating training material, as well as creating competitive analysis. This position reports to the National Technology Center located in Florence, KY. Scope and Responsibilities: Essential duties include, but are not limited to the following: * Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees. * Provide technical support to customers (new and existing customers) assisting Mazak's sales representatives to answer questions and support the sales process. * Conducting thorough market research, which may include taking surveys, doing desktop research, sending emails, and making calls. * Doing demonstrations and/or simulations for customers to help show functionality of the system and ultimately help sell. * Attending workshops and refresher courses in sales and marketing. * Planning and assisting with new product releases and events. * Assisting with the development of business plans. * Identifying new market opportunities and relaying this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders. * Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue. * Help to conduct training classes or sales meetings to introduce or educate the sales organization. This may also include training other departments how to operate the systems. Education/Certification: * Associate degree required (STEM field preferred) * Bachelor's degree preferred (STEM field preferred) Skills: * Superb verbal and written communication skills, as well as great telephone etiquette. * 10+ years of Machine Tool experience * CAD/CAM/3D software is a plus * Sales experience is preferred. * Strong Computer skills/ software knowledge a plus * Understand technical information * Mechanical aptitude required with preference towards a manufacturing background. * Willingness to learn and pay attention to details * Proven analytical and organizational ability EOE, including disability/vets Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
