The Software Engineering Manager will be responsible for spearheading a team which will develop software solutions for the implementation of our innovative technologies into products for our customers. You will be required to actively participate in the direction of the software design while also tasking team members with projects and managing their efforts. Core Responsibilities: - You will manage a small team of Software Development Engineers in the development customizations of the Dematic base software product that incorporate both hardware and software elements. - You will analyze and determine the most efficient and cost-effective methods to implement the required software solutions and carry out such methods with team members to complete projects within the shortest amount of time possible to reduce time to market. - Analyze and coordinates levels of effort needed to complete complex software projects and make scheduling and staffing recommendations to meet established deadlines. - Ensure software code is properly developed, tested, archived, and delivered/deployed.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $118,500-$181,700 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location, education, experience, knowledge, and skills. Tasks and Qualifications: What You Will Be Doing in this Role:

Completes complex projects and performs project organization, definition, planning, implementation and control. Establishes and prepares technical standards, and completes complex technology design theory and procedures. Key Responsibilities:Successfully defines work flows, jobs, and reporting relationships to obtain optimum effectiveness. Impact of decisions on business operations can have a moderate to high level of impact. May develop departmental budgets and business plans for functional area. May evaluate and recommend changes in methods or procedures in own area of responsibility. Identifies resource needs and may develop justification. Troubleshoots and resolves complex problems. May recommend/ determine organizational structures and supervisory relationships for own segment of company. May be responsible for overall success of function or project. Education: Typically Bachelors Degree or advanced degree. Direction of Others:Typically manages non-exempt administrative or technical employees, and/or lower level exempt employees. Key Working Relationships:Primarily intra-organizational contacts and external contacts. Knowledge and Experience:Demonstrates and applies broad knowledge of concepts, practices, and procedures for managed work group(s) and how it supports related operations. Demonstrates understanding and application of supervisory approaches for work direction, motivation, performance management, and disciplinary action. Typically 5-8 years of successful experience in a directly related field and successful demonstration of Key Responsibilities and Knowledge as presented above. |
