Job Summary Designs develops modifies and implements web applications and/or services designed to support our Portals Platforms based web applications. The selected candidate will be a member of the team that is responsible for all aspects of the software development lifecycle. The selected candidate will also be expected to be on top of industry tools and trends in web development and/or web API development. Develop software based on Portals Platform standards and patterns Work as a part of a develo Responsibilities Develop robust software applications using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement J2EE-based solutions that meet business requirements. Utilize AWS IoT services to integrate and manage IoT devices enhancing the companys digital ecosystem. Conduct thorough testing and debugging to ensure high-quality software delivery and minimize defects. Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior developers fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Implement best practices in software development to optimize performance and maintainability. Analyze user requirements and translate them into technical specifications for effective software development. Monitor application performance and implement necessary updates to ensure optimal functionality. Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and adherence to industry standards. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather feedback and incorporate it into future development cycles. Manage project timelines and deliverables ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Qualifications Possess a strong understanding of Spring Boot and Microservices architecture essential for developing scalable applications.
