Job Summary

Ready Credit Corporation is on a mission to modernize payments in the retail gaming world. We are seeking a bold, strategic, and driven Director of Business Development to lead our expansion into the fast-growing retail gaming and digital payout market. With a state-wide shift underway in the state of Georgia, requiring all Coin Operated Amusement Machines (COAM) to adopt prepaid card payouts by July 2026, this is a pivotal opportunity to shape the future of the industry. This role will lead to the rollout of our prepaid card-based cashless solution across retail locations, partnering with key players across the gaming, payments, and retail ecosystems.

This position will reside in Atlanta Georgia or surrounding areas.

You will spearhead field execution, own high-impact partnerships, and drive adoption of a solution that is not just compliant-but transformational. You will be the face of one of our most exciting growth verticals, blending entrepreneurial hustle with disciplined market execution.

If you are inspired by the idea of building something new, navigating change, and delivering tech-enabled solutions in a high-growth environment, we would love to meet you.

Essential Functions

Market Expansion & Strategic Partnerships

  • Meet or exceed sales and revenue growth targets through focused business development.
  • Identify and secure new COAM retail locations, with emphasis on convenience stores and independent operators.
  • Initially in the state of Georgia, cultivate strong relationships with retailers, COAM distributors, and Georgia Lottery Corporation (GLC) stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute data-informed strategies to expand market share and geographic presence.
  • Ensure compliance with GLC rules and Class B COAM regulatory standards.
  • Design and lead scalable location acquisition programs for efficient rollout.

Cashless Payout Solutions Leadership

  • Support the strategic growth of our prepaid card-based payout solution in alignment with Georgia's 2026 mandate.
  • Partner cross-functionally with technology, compliance, legal, marketing, and customer success teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • Gather field insights and user feedback to inform product enhancements and roadmap decisions.
  • Monitor adoption metrics, merchant activation rates, transaction volumes, and profitability.
  • Manage card ordering, inventory, and fulfillment processes in partnership with internal teams and external vendors.

Technology Integration & Operational Excellence

  • Build and manage relationships with strategic technology partners, including kiosk manufacturers, POS system providers, and terminal operators.
  • Serve as the escalation point for technical issues in the field, working with internal products and supporting teams to drive resolution.
  • Implement clear processes for partner communication, issue tracking, and ongoing performance improvement.

Cross-Functional & Strategic Support

  • Serve as the internal and external champion for the COAM and cashless vertical.
  • Lead cross-departmental coordination to execute strategic initiatives and field programs.
  • Provide market intelligence, field learnings, and product input to executive leadership.

Education, Experience, and Other Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, product management, or strategic operations in gaming, fintech, payments, or other regulated industries.
  • Demonstrated success launching and scaling offerings in complex compliance environments.
  • Experience working with retailers, distributors, or hardware/software integrators.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship management, and partner engagement skills.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within Georgia to engage stakeholders and partners.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

  • Direct experience in the Georgia COAM gaming market or equivalent location-based gaming environments.

  • Familiarity with state lottery organizations or similar regulatory agencies.
  • Background in payments, prepaid cards, or digital wallet programs.
  • Experience working with kiosks, POS systems, merchant onboarding, or loyalty/payments platforms.
  • Proven success in launching strategic initiatives and building new verticals from the ground up.
