Description Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Level 2 Data Center Technician to join our global infrastructure team. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of our data centers, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our cloud and enterprise services. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with cutting-edge technology and a strong focus on operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: * Perform advanced hardware diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repair of servers, network devices, and storage systems. * Execute complex break-fix tasks and escalate issues when necessary. * Monitor and respond to alerts, tickets, and incidents using internal tools and processes. * Support infrastructure deployments including racking, stacking, and cabling of equipment. * Maintain accurate documentation of hardware assets, configurations, and maintenance activities. * Collaborate with engineering teams to support system upgrades, migrations, and testing. * Ensure compliance with data center security protocols and environmental standards. * Mentor and provide guidance to Level 1 technicians. Qualifications: * Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience. * 2-4 years of experience in data center operations or IT infrastructure support. * Strong knowledge of server hardware, networking fundamentals, and data center best practices. * Experience with ticketing systems, monitoring tools, and inventory management platforms. * Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments. * Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Willingness to work in shifts, including nights and weekends, as needed. Preferred Qualifications: * Industry certifications such as CompTIA Server+, Network+, or similar. * Familiarity with cloud platforms and virtualization technologies. * Experience in large-scale enterprise or hyperscale data center environments.
