Description Position Overview: We are seeking a skilled and dependable Level 2 Commercial Security Installer to join our growing team. This role involves the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of commercial-grade security systems, including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and related infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience, a strong technical foundation, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team on mid- to large-scale projects. Key Responsibilities: * Install and configure commercial security systems including cameras, access control panels, card readers, motion detectors, and alarm systems. * Run and terminate low-voltage cabling (Cat5e, Cat6, coaxial, etc.) in commercial environments. * Interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to ensure accurate installations. * Test and troubleshoot installed systems to ensure proper functionality and compliance with specifications. * Maintain detailed documentation of installations, configurations, and service activities. * Collaborate with project managers, general contractors, and clients to ensure timely and quality project delivery. * Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards at all times. * Provide guidance and support to Level 1 installers and assist in on-site training. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certifications preferred. * 1.5-4 years of experience installing commercial security systems. * Proficiency with tools and equipment used in low-voltage installations. * Familiarity with major security system brands (e.g., Honeywell, Bosch, Axis, Genetec, Lenel, etc.). * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and lift up to 50 lbs. * Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Preferred Certifications (not required but a plus): * OSHA 10/30 * Manufacturer-specific certifications (e.g., Genetec, Lenel, Axis) * State or local low-voltage license (if applicable) Apply Today to learn more!
