We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Analyst to join our finance team in Los Angeles. The ideal candidate has at least three years of AP experience in a mid-size to large corporate environment and thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume setting. This role will support end-to-end AP functions, drive process improvements, and ensure accuracy and compliance in all outgoing payments.

Responsibilities:



  • Process high-volume vendor invoices, credit memos, and payment requests with attention to detail and compliance.
  • Analyze and reconcile vendor accounts, ensuring timely resolution of discrepancies.
  • Perform three-way matching of POs, receipts, and invoices; ensure accurate GL coding and cost center assignments.
  • Review and validate employee expense reports for policy compliance and accuracy.
  • Coordinate weekly and monthly payment runs, including checks, ACH, and wire transfers.
  • Monitor and enforce adherence to internal controls, SOX compliance, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and vendors to resolve AP-related issues.
  • Support audit activities by preparing schedules and documentation as required.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and assist with automation initiatives.



Qualifications:



  • AA degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of accounts payable experience in a mid-size or large organization (e.g., $100M+ revenue or 500+ employees).
  • Proficient in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and internal controls.
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, data validation).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Highly organized, with a focus on accuracy and meeting deadlines.



Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience with shared services or multi-entity environments.
  • Familiarity with Concur, Ariba, or similar invoice automation tools.
  • Knowledge of 1099 compliance and California sales/use tax.



Salary Range: $69,000-$71,879
