The orderly is a hospital attendant whose job consists of assisting medical and nursing staff with various nursing and medical interventions. The orderly assists with surgery setups and must have knowledge of medical terminology. The orderly assists staff with operating room turnover, transfers patients following proper procedures for lifting and moving patients, restocks warmers, assists with patient care as needed and other duties as assigned, based on the needs of the Operating Room.

Minimum Education:

High School Graduate or equivalent

Required License/Certification:

Current BLS certification via AHA

The hourly rate range for this position is $17.50 to $27.
