We are seeking a motivated student to join our Global Human & Consumer Insight
(HCI) department, an international network with more than 70 professionals that aims to bring innovation and consumer understanding for the Home Care Scent Market (think room sprays, plug-ins, scented candles, reed diffusers). This role offers a unique opportunity to delve into the field of consumer research while interacting with numerous olfactive experts.

You will have the opportunity to:
* Discover the fragrance industry: smell the products, learn about key players, discover new brands, new launches and deep dive into consumer- specific habits and needs in the different markets across the world.
* Learn from industry veterans: work and learn everyday with people of diverse background and high inclusivity (consumer researchers, data scientists, olfactive evaluators, perfumers, marketing analysts, sales, chemistry engineers...).
* Gain skills in the field of consumer research and be prepared to contribute and take initiative.

Tasks:
* Provide support to ongoing Global HCI Category projects.
* Data Mining: organize data collection, execute quality control and conduct standard data analysis.

* Support fieldwork coordination of consumer research studies and/or fragrance products testing and follow-up to ensure all actions/deliverables are done on time.
* Help writing and developing questionnaires (and other documents relevant to research) in alignment with the strategy and defined needs.
* Translate results into actionable insights by partnering with consumer and creative experts.
* Assist in writing and developing reports and presentations for internal and/ or external customers.
* Bring consumer understanding into development & innovation process.

Skills & Competencies:
* Strong interest for consumer understanding and good competences in data analysis
* Strong interest in the fragrance industry
* Strong Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, proficiency in JMP a plus (but not required)
* Effective team player, informative and collaborative style
* Organized, rigorous and curious, with the ability to work autonomously

Compensation:

19/hr. - 25/hr.
