Part Time Position

Job Summary

The Food Service Worker serves as a cashier helping take drink/food orders and payments from patrons, as well as making the drinks to the specifications that have been ordered, and handing to the customer. The incumbent assists in preparing food and merchandise displays in counter cases and other display units, greets customers as they arrive at service counter, takes special orders, and answers basic customer questions about the store. Responsible for cleaning work area and store as needed.

Primary Duties

  • Greet customers that enter the store.

  • Take customer orders and payments.

  • Make specified drink orders and identify correct food item to serve customer.

  • Replace cups, napkins, merchandise and other items that need to be replenished. Wipe and wash countertops and chairs.

  • Clean work area, utensils and equipment; remove garbage; mop floors, walls, windows, bathroom and tables.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Optional to participate in dance/singing breaks in the store to entertain customers.

  • Follow correct techniques, cleaning schedules and tasks.

  • Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong customer service skills preferred.

  • Attention to detail.
