As a product manager on the Tableau Ecosystem Engagement team, you will customers and earn their trust by helping them accelerate their analytics journey by engaging and supporting our community of partners and developers. We're looking for someone to help us achieve this mission via product leadership and close collaboration with our peers in Sales, Marketing, and core feature teams in Development. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain expertise in the Tableau platform and technologies.

  • Grow and support the partner and developer community through online and in-person evangelism of Tableau and Salesforce technologies.

  • Work closely with product, engineering, and other cross-functional teams as the "voice of developers & partners" to influence the future of platform capabilities.

  • Gather feedback from partner & developer program members on early-stage capabilities.

  • Advise valued customers and partners on best practices and architecture to speed adoption and customer success.

  • Be the lead for the Tableau tech partner program and partner enablement

  • Work closely with Product Marketing, Sales, & Alliances to drive go-to-market activities. This includes creating whitepapers, blogs, and participating in customer-facing activities (SIC's, etc.)

  • Define and produce joint solutions with partners by working collaboratively with ecosystem and platform product managers and supporting these initiatives at related events.

  • Work directly with sales and customers to understand their pain points and determine how we can leverage technology partners to help them achieve success.

  • Create collateral for joint field and customer enablement.

  • Work closely with Engineering and Customer Support to support key accounts and opportunities.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

  • Deep understanding of the BI&A market, latest industry trends, and the competitive landscape.

  • Technical aptitude - familiarity with Tableau and competitive products.

  • Presentation skills - Experience presenting content and articulating at various depths depending on the audience type. This includes C-level executives, line-of-business leaders, and technical users.

  • Tableau skills, preferred

Education/Experience:

  • 5 years of experience, with 2 years in a customer-facing role

  • A related technical degree required.

  • Pre-/post-sales experience, or technical product manager experience

  • Saas company experience, preferred

  • Partner-focused experience, preferred

  • Development and customer-facing experience, preferred

In office expectations are 10 days/a quarter to support customers and/or collaborate with their teams.

For Washington-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $211,500 to $306,600. For California-based roles, the base salary hiring range for this position is $230,800 to $334,600.
