Job Title: Patient Service Representative (Bilingual - Spanish) Location: Glendale, CA (100% Onsite) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Pay: $21-$22/hour Contract Duration: 4-5 months (560 hours) with potential for full-time hire after contract Who are we: One of Southern California's largest physician-led healthcare networks. Position Summary: We are seeking a bilingual (Spanish-speaking) Patient Service Representative to join our team in Glendale. This role is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience in a medical front office or call center setting. The PSR will be responsible for handling high volumes of inbound patient calls, verifying insurance, scheduling appointments, and providing exceptional service in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: * Answer and route incoming calls in a courteous and professional manner. * Schedule patient appointments and verify insurance eligibility (HMO/PPO). * Collect co-pays and assist with billing inquiries. * Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in EMR systems. * Provide clear and empathetic communication to patients regarding services, procedures, and insurance processes. * Support front desk operations and collaborate with clinical and administrative teams. * Adhere to company policies regarding attendance, punctuality, and professionalism Required Qualifications: * Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a healthcare administrative role (call center or front office). * Bilingual in English and Spanish (required). * Strong knowledge of HMO and PPO insurance processes. * Proficient in scheduling systems and Microsoft Office Suite. * Excellent communication, multitasking, and organizational skills. * Comfortable with repetitive tasks and high call volumes. Preferred Skills: * Familiarity with EMR systems and medical terminology. * Experience with patient charting and insurance verification. * Ability to remain calm and professional in a fast-paced environment. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
