What you will do

The CPM Advanced Practice Provider (APP) within the Department of Anesthesiology and Perioperative Medicine at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center is an essential member of the perioperative team. The general role of the CPM APP is to provide high quality, timely, effective, and collaborative, evidenced-based care to preoperative patients. The process of pre-screening helps achieve optimal surgical outcomes by ensuring patients are prepared in every way for their upcoming surgery. The CPM APP will do this through performing physical exams, ordering and interpreting labs and diagnostic tests, and obtaining a thorough medical history to screen and optimize medical conditions that may affect surgical outcomes.
