Please read the application instructions. Incomplete applications will not be considered. The Global Education Office (GEO) is pleased to announce an exciting employment opportunity! The GEO Resource Center is seeking an Office Assistant who will work as a team member to provide outstanding customer service and support services of moderate complexity to all staff members of the Global Education Office. Along with other Resource Center employees, this individual is the first point of contact with faculty, staff, students, and the general public via walk-in, e-mail, or by phone regarding the many projects/programs within GEO. As such, employees are expected to conduct themselves in a professional, friendly and open manner, demonstrate a positive attitude, and actively problem-solve in this role. This position will also be back up support for the Passport Center, which duties include, answering applicant and customer questions. Must be available during normal operation hours Monday-Friday 10-20 hours a week.

- Clear and effective oral and written communication
- Good phone mannerisms
- Patience with non-native English speakers
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a
team - Ability to lift up to 30 pounds for a short period of
time (moving file boxes or event supplies) - Must be able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced
environment - Minimum 10 hours/week; additional hours may be
available based on business needs
