Description
Vickers and Nolan Enterprises (VNE) is an engineering company that provides Government projects and programs with experienced and dedicated system architects, engineers, subject matter experts (in tactical intelligence), and program managers. VNE also develops training courses and tools to prepare warfighters to effectively employ tactical intelligence systems and provide management guidance to the Government organizations that develop these systems. Qualifications
VNE, LLC is looking for a Secret Cleared Logistician Minimum Qualifications: Education:
- Bachelor's degree. Current Professional Logistics Certification - i.e., Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) certified in Lifecycle [Acquisition] Logistics Level 2 or have equivalent logistics training (resume to specify all equivalent training) or possess an additional three (3) years working in direct support of defense life-cycle logistics.
Experience:
- Ten (10) years of experience in defense life-cycle (acquisition) logistics support (or 13 years if not DAWIA Level 2 certified) of electronic systems, to include: logistics management, principles, practices, and processes.
- Six (6) years of experience in support of C4ISR systems.
- Demonstrated management skills, to include: Analyzing Contracts, Analyzing System Design Specifications, Analyzing Engineering/Systems Management Data, Developing Logistics Plans and Procedures, and Developing Logistics Management Plans and Guidelines. Experience supervising Logistics Specialists.
- Lifecycle Logistics Expertise: Proven ability to conduct lifecycle logistics for Department of Defense (DoD) programs, ensuring mission readiness and optimal performance across a diverse range of systems.
- Logistics Analysis Proficiency: Skilled in managing complex logistics analyses, including Logistics Operational Readiness Assessment (LORA) and Maintenance Task Analysis, in strict adherence to MIL-HDBK standards.
- LORA Plan Development: Proficient in developing and maintaining LORA plans for multiple systems, effectively shaping sustainment strategies and enhancing overall mission readiness.
- Reliability and Maintainability Analysis: Experienced in conducting comprehensive reliability and maintainability analyses to guide maintenance and spare parts decisions, ensuring the effective operation of systems.
- Lifecycle Cost and Risk Assessment: Competent in conducting lifecycle cost analyses and cost risk assessments for maintenance programs, contributing to effective resource allocation and the optimization of maintenance strategies.
- Reliability Analysis Proficiency: Expertise in performing various reliability analyses, including Reliability Block Diagrams and Failure Mode and Effects Criticality Analyses (FMECAs), aimed at enhancing system performance and reliability.
- Secret level Clearance required. TS/SCI Preferred.
Essential Duties of the Job:
- Ability to communicate task requirement information to client in a clear and concise manner.
- Must be able to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time, as well as lead and participate in meetings and working groups.
- Requires visual acuity to use a keyboard.
- Must be able to attend work each day, during scheduled hours, unless on travel or approved time off.
- Ability to work on computer for long periods, and communicate with individuals by telephone, email and face-to-face

- Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
- May be exposed to chemicals related to office equipment.
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate (i.e. general office environment).
