Role Summary

  • Reporting to the Global Quality Head, the Global QMS & Technical Support Quality Head is responsible for contributing to the strategic direction, development, and implementation of Church & Dwight's global Quality Management System and complex technical challenges/issues via global leadership of the Technical Support Quality team. This position is responsible for setting the direction, gaining alignment, and implementing globally harmonized processes, including electronic systems, standardized metrics for reporting to the ELT, impacting over 28 global sites. This position is also responsible for overseeing the Technical Support Quality team, which investigates and solves complex quality issues and challenges across the Global Supply Chain. This includes ensuring the team is equipped to analyze root causes, develop effective solutions, and implement corrective actions to enhance product quality and operational efficiency across all global locations. This role is responsible for managing, developing and coaching a staff of 15 people, plus indirect global oversight to all regional/local QMS Leads & Technical Support Quality teams with a total direct influence over approximately 100 people.

Education and Experience

  • University's degree from an accredited institution in a related field
  • Professional typically with over 20 plus years technical experience and a demonstrated track record
  • Generalist in at least 5 areas, e.g., geographies, product types (consumer products, medical device, food, dietary supplements or pharmaceutical) or functional competency (e.g., doc mgmt, electronic systems)
  • High level and high scope of decision making authority
  • Minimum of 12 years' of supervisory experience
  • Strategy development, may provide functional direction to others and ensures execution delivers on targeted goals: independent
  • Consulted internally as an expert in 4 or more areas of functional expertise; May be consulted externally as well

Skills and Competencies

  • Ability to develop and implement complex global quality strategies.
  • Practical understanding, interpretation, and application of ISO13485, MDSAP.
  • Excellent verbal and written skills; able to analyze, define and effectively convey difficult and complex issues in a way that accurately and persuasively communicates issues to internal and external stakeholders, including Senior Management.
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively and to translate strategy into action plans.
  • Ability to prioritize and to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated talent management experience with developing talent for the future.
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and to build relationships across disciplines.
  • Excellent influence, persuasion, communication, and presentation skills

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000 - $200,000.00. This position is also eligible for a bonus.

U.S. employees are entitled to paid holidays, floating holidays, and vacation days starting in their first year of employment depending on hire date. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay parity. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
