Main Responsibilities

* Operation of the Secondary Production Plant controls.
* Effectively operate all computer and fixed equipment controls maintaining safe and productive results.
* Complete all required walk around safety, equipment and component inspections prior to equipment at the beginning and end of all shifts.
* Ensure all key components are properly greased; drive belts are tight; safety guards are in place and lubricant levels are in the operating areas prior to startup of the primary crushing plant.
* Responsible for immediately verbally communicating all issues that will result in poor quality, productivity and downtime events during the production process.
* Ensure and conduct corrective actions involving dust control measures.
* Remain alert at all times and ensure the ability to visually see and monitor all details at close range and at a distance.
* Responsible for maintaining housekeeping MSHA guidelines within the work area.
* Complete, communicate and document all required repairs needed.
* Perform and document equipment inspections, not limited to mobile equipment and fixed plant equipment.
* Responsible for the accurate completion and distribution of all required daily production report information.
* Communicate positively, productively, and respectfully.
*Ground control housekeeping, material cleanup and shoveling within the working area at all times.
*Maintenance and special tasks as assigned by company management.

Qualifications

* Must have excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skills. This job requires the ability to communicate successfully with difficult employees under high stress situations.
* Must demonstrate excellent safety awareness, and a willingness to comply with company policies and safety standards.
* Must have reliable transportation.
* Must wear proper attire at all times including safety vests, safety glasses, long pants, above the ankle/safety-toed shoes, and reflect a clean and presentable image.
* Continuous mental and visual attention is necessary to safely and effectively complete work tasks.
* Project a positive and cooperative attitude by maintaining courteous and professional conduct with Supervisors and co-workers

Physical Demands

This job requires the ability to lift, pull, and push a minimum of 50 lbs., bend, stoop, kneel, reach, squat twist, and climb heavy equipment several times throughout the day, and balance at heights up to 6 feet from ground level. In addition, you must have the ability to be on your feet regularly and use hands, arms, and legs repeatedly on the job. This includes frequently walking on sloped ground and slippery and uneven surfaces, as well as working in confined areas.

* This job requires the ability to see, whether naturally or with vision correction tools (glasses, contacts).
* This job requires the ability to perform essential job tasks in less than favorable job conditions. These may include but are not limited to: Performing strenuous work in varying temperatures, humidity, sand, wind, or other extreme inclement weather conditions for extended periods of time.
