Join Macquarie's Tax Reporting team in the Americas and be a part of a dynamic and impactful team responsible for the preparation of numerous income tax returns and tax accounting entries. You will work closely with various divisions and have the opportunity to become a technical resource within Tax Reporting.

What role will you play?

You will support our Commodities and Global Markets Division by calculating tax results and preparing compliance submissions, including 1120 and 1065 filings. Additionally, you will be involved in financial accounting, tax capacity, and balance sheet assets/liabilities, impacting restructuring transactions, tax structures, and funding considerations.



What you offer

  • Strong analytical acumen to understand what is behind the numbers and the transactions affecting group results
  • Ability to work independently and research with disparate sources of information from various business units
  • Capability to present the "unvarnished truth" and the best estimate given available data, articulating levels of confidence in the numbers
  • Experience in preparing monthly and semi-annual tax provision/accounting disclosures
  • Proficiency in preparing 1120 and 1065 tax returns and understanding tax positions and their future impacts.
